| Once again, we are forced to err on the side of safety. Unfortunately, and with great reluctance, we have decided to delay our reopening. We wish there was better news from the CDC. Even though, all the volunteers and clients are vaccinated and super careful, Omicron doesn’t seem to care. You might be asymptomatic and still spread the disease. Believe me, we will miss seeing all of you and each other. You are are heroes, working on the front line with the public and children who may not be fully vaccinated. We are here to serve you and hope to do it soon. As soon as we know that we can reopen safely, we will notify you via email, Facebook and the website. We are currently closed for book give away and will reopen when it is safe. WE WILL BE OPEN TUESDAYS FROM 1 TO 3 PM FOR BOOK DONATIONS. This is also the one time each year when we ask for financial contributions. We are a 501(c)3 (80-0320661) so your donation is tax deductible. Donate Now We are a very frugal non-profit, all volunteer run. But we do have expenses including rent, technology costs and supplies. This may also be the year we finally replace the 11 year old computer that we use for data management. We also love to shop, looking for those very special books that we know kids will treasure.
