We’ll get right to the point. We urgently need your help to keep our doors open.
We need to find a new location by the end of the school year. Our lease is up and cannot be extended.
We are an all-volunteer, low budget organization. Your help in finding us a new affordable home will allow us to continue to serve you.
Since we opened our doors in May 2005, we have given away over one million books to literally thousands of organizations and individuals who work with children in need. We have helped teachers stock their shelves; built and replenished school libraries; furnished books for literacy programs, pediatric clinics, social service agencies, and others.
If you know of anyone in a position to help us find a new home, partner with us, or support us in any way, please let us know. It will take a village to help us find a safe and convenient space. The Board’s relocation committee is working on a plan for a smooth transition so that we can close in the summer and open in our new location in September. Please contact Jan Stamos (email@example.com) (510-220-7242) for further information. We are grateful for your support.
